Hewitt Robins pioneered the development of vibrating de-waterers for the removal of surface moisture to enhance product quality.

The vast experience of HRI includes the processing of materials ranging from sand, metallic ores, crushed stone and slag to coal, potash, rock salt and wood chips. HRI dewaterers can also be specifically applied in pre-wetting, de-sliming and rinsing filtration media.

The standard HRI range for dewatering applications ranges from 1.25 x 3.0m - 2.7 x 8.4m long.

At the heart of every de-watering screen is the Eliptex Vibrator unit, which imparts a three-way motion to the screen, with horizontal, vertical and elliptical components providing high capacity and a sharper, cleaner product.

For smaller applications HRI can offer the more economical Umbex de-waterer which is driven by single or twin low noise vibrator motors.
